Pricing questions answered
What is included in the one-time setup fee?
The $350 CAD setup fee covers sourcing, vetting, matching you with the right VA, full onboarding and workflow setup. It is charged once when you start with Virease and never again, including when you upgrade or downgrade.
Why is there a 3-month minimum commitment?
Three months gives us time to onboard your VA, build your workflows and refine your processes. Working relationships improve significantly after the first four to six weeks, and the minimum makes sure you experience the full value of the service.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes. You can upgrade at any time with 5 business days notice. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle once the 3-month minimum is complete. There is no new setup fee when you change plans. Your onboarding and workflows carry over.
What happens if my VA is unavailable or underperforms?
Because the service is fully managed, we handle it. If your VA is unavailable due to illness or an emergency, we arrange cover. If performance is not meeting the standard, we address it through our management process, including replacement if necessary, at no extra cost to you.
Do unused hours roll over to the next month?
No. Plans are monthly retainers, so we recommend choosing the plan that matches your average monthly needs. If you consistently use fewer hours, we can discuss adjusting your plan.
How are payments processed?
Invoices are issued at the start of each billing cycle and are due within 5 business days. We accept e-transfer, credit card or other methods agreed in your service agreement. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
Can I cancel after the 3-month period?
Yes. After the initial 3-month commitment, you can cancel at any time with 30 days written notice. There is no long-term lock-in beyond the initial term.
Is the hourly option available for ongoing work?
The hourly option is designed for short-term or project-based needs. For ongoing support, a monthly plan is better value and gives you a dedicated VA who knows your business.
